Nothing wrong with wanting to use a HOTAS setup (NOT to be confused with a "joystick") while "flying" around in space. It is an RPG, but immersion was/is a goal for games like this, from this developer. If it's anything like Bethesda claims, a "life" almost entirely in space is not only feasible, but probable.Hosas (plus pedals) mechanically gives the most amount of control on all axis. It is good in this respect for manoeuvre and considered strong for combat, racing and low flying. Hotas has nearly as much control and the same amount of axis. It is considered more immersive, potentially more comfortable for larger ships.
